New xPL updater / catalog application
Finished version 1.0 of the xPL Updater application today. It lists the installed applications and all available applications (based on the vendor plugin contents).
The content of the vendor plugins doesn't seem very up-to-date. But nevertheless it gives a great overview of available software. The search box lets you search very quickly for available stuff.
Try searching for 'rfx', 'tts', 'sms', or platform specific, 'windows'. I must say that I myself was pleasantly surprised by the results. Great tool for starters.

Re: New xPL updater / catalog application
I ran this on my completely xPL-free Win7 PC, but when it finally timed out looking for the hub, the install hub button actually installed xpldiag instead.

Sorry about that. Found the cause, its an old bug that somehow found its way back in. Sloppyness on my behalf probably.
Will post an updated version this evening when home from the office.
btw: have you updated the hub and diags to include the registry key with the version number? Thats for the updater to be able to verify those versions to.
