It seems that updating config values does not work as before... In particular, I have problems with configuring Tony's TTS application - I cannot change either the soundcard or the voice value.

I suspect this may be related to the fact that both of those values have spaces in them - unfortunately, they are obtained from the system (e.g. "Realtek AC97 Audio").
